Recognizing that there is so much more to migraine than just the new treatments, Migraine Meanderings
provides a patient-focused space to encourage advocacy and help raise awareness about migraine. Through initiatives such as Empowering Patient Voices, Stages of Life with Migraine, Migraine Treatment Toolbox, Men with Migraine, Insurance Coverage, and a variety of easily shareable content such as blogs and Migraine 101, this community offers a supportive place for people at all stages of their journey, whether newly diagnosed or life-long warriors.

Hope for Migraine is a peer-to-peer community for people who live with migraine which seeks to SUPPORT, GUIDE and EDUCATE people who are navigating the new CGRP medications and other emerging treatments.
About
Since 2018 we have seen a new frontier in the treatment of migraine and other headache disorders. It is a frontier that has been much anticipated as well as much-needed for help in managing an often disabling disease that impacts 1 billion globally. However, along with new frontiers come new challenges, including trying to navigate a complex and extensive maze of information and deal with access barriers.

Living with migraine or any other type of headache disorder can feel overwhelming, challenging and isolating. Many people are either undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or undertreated. That’s why one of the most important things you can add to your migraine treatment toolbox is a doctor educated and certified in headache medicine – someone who can help you navigate treatment options and develop a personalized treatment plan. Unfortunately, a certified headache specialist is not necessarily the same as a doctor who just calls themself a “headache specialist” and for the 40 million people in the US with migraine, there are currently fewer than 1,000 doctors who have completed the necessary education to receive a UCNS and/or AQH certification in headache medicine. Patients can use this headache doctor locator to help them find a specialist in their geographic area.
